Webers on Highway 11
The Southern Ontario Mini Club is heading up to Bala, Ontario for the Cranberry Festival on the 19th of October. Instead of taking the highway all the way there, we turn off onto a section of over 200 turns and a cumulative elevation change of 370 feet because that’s way more fun than some stupid highway.
Meet @ Webers on Hwy 11.
Meet at Webers on Hwy 11 at 10am.
Depart there at 11am, drive up highway 11 to Southwood road across the Rattler and to the ball diamond.
Group photo at the ball diamond.
After the ball diamond the group usually splits up.
Some head on over to the Bala Cranberry Festival for some candied cranberries, dried, juiced, coated, baked, you name it, it’s there. Lots of food, some fair type stuff and a host of crafts, arts and décor products as well!
The driving types group up to do another few hours of driving the myriad twisty roads that are scattered around the area, while the home bodies convoy up to head home.
There will be various MINI convoys heading to Weber’s so check out the SOMC rattler post to coordinate.
We’re still trying to beat our 2011 record of 55 MINIS. Come on out and help make it happen!
